3 Graph Types
The Pie graph is one of the most highly used graphs because of its consistency to show a section of data against the whole data range. It is based on a 100% scale and each section shows the percentage of the whole thing. The pie graph is best used when measuring an amount against the whole data range instead of just comparing two different sets of data.

Column Graph:
the column graph is used when values are compared and should only be used when the variables are easily comparable. When there are too many variables, the graph becomes too hard to read
In my spreadsheet, i chose to use the pie graph. i stayed with this choice because the type of data I was displaying and the amount of data i was displaying would not get lost or confusing because it is a graph that is used to display a data range of 3 or more different items. and it then displays each of those items against the total amount. In this case, i used it to show the spread of money over each day of each persons trip. including the total expense, the pie is split into each sector and a different colour codes each sector to the item it is displaying. having the amount around each sector gives whoever is viewing the graph a good idea of the spread of money over the different items
